Hello Jammers! Cerise here. I logged on and spawned in Crystal Sands when I saw this girl claiming that if you gifted her, she would gift you back.

I told her she could just use the trading system. She ignored me for a minute before she said "and i do not scam", which is funny because it wasn't even directed it me, it was directed as part of the advertisement and she only said it after I mentioned the trading system.

She claimed that she "didn't like to trade because i can get scammed", which contradicts everything she said previously - you can get scammed by gifting as well, and plus, with trading you're always guaranteed to get something.

I told her that I had pictures and that I would post them, and she immediately started backpedaling by complimenting my outfit in a desperate attempt to make me stop. Of course, I didn't. Curiously, instead of defending herself, she just ended up walking away and chatting with someone. Definitely the most oblivious scammer I've ever met.

Report her for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here. This girl was claiming that if you sent her a gift, the best gift would win her outfit. I didn't get an actual picture of her advertising the scam, but there's a full video on it at the end of the post.

A bunch of other people started yelling that cupcakes had scammed them, and to be blunt, I believe them.

I got everyone to calm down and asked Cupcakes why we couldn't just trade for her outfit. 1 minute passed, she didn't respond. Another minute passed, she retreated elsewhere. Agent Taco went to investigate the scene, and here's what he got.

And there you have it, folks, video evidence of cupcakes5072 admitting to scamming and attempting to scam. Her attempt at backpedaling was pretty lame, considering the only reason she gave for scamming, even though she was quitting was "if it was a black long you'd accept it too".

Hey guys, Beta here. I know that I've been distant with the SWS lately, and I haven't made any posts, and I'm really sorry. I've been really busy with school and stuff, and I don't want the SWS or Animal Jam to distract me.
That's gonna be a long while, I don't plan to quit anytime soon at all.
I'm announcing a hiatus. A hiatus is basically a break. I'm taking a "vacation" from the society, if you will. I don't know how long this hiatus will take, hopefully not long. But once I feel comfortable spending more time on the SWS and Animal Jam, I'll be back.

Like I said, I've been really distant with the society for the past few months as well. I've been having really weird issues. As some know, I play Animal Jam on the iPad, using the Puffin free app, but sometimes it freezes and it's a strain to simply play, so that's part of the reason. School as well, of course. I just finished a huge project, but there's more to come.

Long story short, I'll be taking a break from the SWS and AJ. I'll still hang out around the Chat Room when I can, but I'm trying to focus on the more important things. I'll be back in no time, and I hope you all take care while I'm away (even though I sorta have been away already).

I don't know how long I'll be gone, but not long. Hope you all take care, and happy jamming!
Ciao for now!

Calamity Corner - nafia123 (Non-member)

Hello Jammers, Cerise here. I found some girl who was offering her RIM Cowboy Boots for a white princess dress, so I went to buy it, went back, and traded it to her for the cowboy boots (I collect uncommon RIMs for donation purposes). After that, this guy came up behind her and started saying "does it to her". That's all for this post, really, because he left immediately after. Report him for inappropriate behavior.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here, with yet another scammer. It seems like all of them were waiting for me to get back from vacation. Anyways, this girl sent me a JAG offering her headdress for my short spiked collar, but only if I sent her it first. This was our conversation.

"Why can't we just trade?"

"If your trading is disabled, why isn't your gifting also disabled?"
She waited approximately 3 minutes to respond, probably trying to think up an excuse.

I told her I had pictures, and she started playing dumb and eventually stopped JAG'ing me when I asked her to defend herself. Report her for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here. I went into the Temple of Zios to go talk to someone when I found Jazzy313 (Awesome) and her friend (Incredible) saying "let's trade" "it's the same thing" no its not". I immediately got suspicious.

Jazzy started saying things like "we will both get what we want" "just trust me" "we will gift at the same time", while Awesome repeatedly said "no, you gift me first" and "just put it on trade plz"

I walked up and asked what was going on, and Incredible (laughingjackrocks) explained that Jazzy wanted to trade with her, but she wanted to gift swap instead. I asked Jazzy why she couldn't trade, and she said "i like getting gifts". I explained to her the gifting system is for sending/receiving free items, and the trading system is for exchanging items. I waited for her, and eventually, Jazzy left and Awesome sent me this JAG.

Looks like the scam did take place. At the time I am writing this post, I'm interviewing Awesome about what happened. Please report Jazzy313 for scamming.

florafighter Returns

Hello Jammers, Cerise here with a returning scammer that Shiver posted a while ago. And by a while ago, I mean last year. The pictures on the post glitched out, so there's no proof anymore, however, she  [florafighter] recently commented on her post and said she wasn't a scammer, like most scammers that find our website do. I didn't know it was her at first, so I clicked her name and it redirected me to her Google+ page. This is what I found.

Am I talking about her likely stolen profile picture and channel art? No, even though that's bad. Am I talking about the drawing she posted? No. I'm talking about the video she shared called "Animal jam how to scam", and prefaced it with "Check out this video on YouTube". And it's recent. Suspicious? Absolutely.

Watch out for this chick, I'm not getting good vibes from her. Don't report her just yet, but watch out.

ajteamscammers (Scamming Team)

Big Thank You to Agent Rock for re-alerting me to this

I usually try to steer clear of old things, but an Agent yesterday brought to my attention, that they had uploaded again after a long hiatus. (Although they are on another hiatus, they may return again this summer, as that seems to be when they tend to upload.) Today I will be addressing "ajteamscammers", as they call themselves. It is pretty self-explanatory, although I would call them out as just wanting attention, which, is one thing they also want, they most certainly scam as well. Here is a link to their channel. They have several videos, all of which I've examined as closely as possible to find their usernames, which I did quite a while ago when AJSG found them near the time of their creation, and then began posting their usernames where we could at the time. He slipped up once, and showed the entire teams usernames.

I have no clue if this is the truth or not, but supposedly the one recording its username is "lighting76543". I have no evidence to back it up, besides the little note in the start of the video, which was added after AJSG started spreading around the other members usernames. Here is a screenshot from the video that I manged to get years ago.

And there you have it. That concludes this post Jammers, remember, there is a SLIGHT possibility that lighting76543 is not the recorders username, and that these are not the scamming team members, but people he is trying to frame, although I highly doubt that is the case. "foxonaj" is supposedly the leader of the scamming team. That is all I have to say, and remember, there is a slight possibility, if history repeats itself, that they might return late spring/early summer if history repeats itself, so be on the lookout ^.^

Hello Jammers! Cerise here with a short post to make up for my two long ones earlier. Shortly after I caught grace71116, this guy started saying that he would send rares to whoever sent him a spiked collar.

I confronted him, he ignored me, and eventually left. Nothing special about this guy.
Report him for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here with another scammer I caught this morning. Grace was claiming that if you sent her a spiked wristband, she'd send you nerd glasses, which is a massive overtrade, so I went over to talk to her about it.

I asked her why she couldn't just trade the nerd glasses, and she said she could, and asked me to put my wristband on trade. I told her I didn't actually want to trade, I just wanted her to use the trading system, and walked away.

A minute later, she was back asking for people to giftswap with her again. I went and confronted her about it and asked her why she wasn't trading, and she said it was because I wasn't trading her. Wow.

After the confrontation, she just kind of stood there and said nothing for about 5 minutes (no exaggeration, it was actually that long) and eventually got logged out for being AFK.
Report her for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here. To make up for the lack of scammers in the past several days, I found this really bad and really annoying scammer. It started with her asking for people to gift her, and that whoever did would win her account.

I asked her why she was giving out an account with an active membership, which is a major flaw in this person's attempt at a scam. They responded by saying "BECAUSE I WANT TO LET PEOPLE HAVE IT GEEZ". If there's anything that makes scammers a dead-giveaway, it's overreactions when they are questioned, even in the slightest.

I told her that even if she wasn't scamming through asking for the gifts, it is against the rules and ToS to give out accounts, share accounts with someone you don't know, etc. She then brushes it off as nothing because apparently "AJHQ doesn't care", which, even though it's true in a way, is not an excuse to completely disregard the rules.

But wait. It gets worse.
After I called her out on her shenanigans, she changed into an arctic wolf and started claiming that she has scammed "on her main account", and even named someone that she apparently scammed.

Of course, I highly doubt that she has a main account, mainly because she named her main account (Her "YouTube account" is Cleo Paw AJ, and her username is cleopaw-something) as well as her scamming victim.

She also started saying that she was a 60 year old man, for unknown reasons. I honestly don't care if this is a joke or not, because this can be really disturbing or scary for young children that hear it.

She later claimed she had recorded the entire scenario and that she would upload it, as if that would do anything for her reputation, called us losers, and left.
Report her for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here. I bet you can tell by this person's player card what kind of post this is going to be. tristanl26 was running around Jamaa Township saying that she was going to shut AJ down, in an attempt to impersonate fman122. First things first, we can tell this is fake because fman122 was caught years ago, and second of all, she got the wrong color on the underside of her wolf.
At first I thought this was merely a harmless joke, but I was wrong. She started going around and screaming for people to send her long spiked collars and threatening to shut down the game if she didn't. This is where we draw the line.

Impersonating a famous hacker on AJ as a joke? That's fine. Impersonating a famous hacker on AJ as a joke and threatening to shut down the game if people don't send you items? That's not okay. I sent her a JAG telling her not to do this, and she kept playing along and saying she was actually fman122.

I sent her a JAG telling her to stop and that I had pictures, and she left. I tried to send her one last JAG after she left, only to see this. I think someone's mad they got caught.

Report her for scamming.

Hello Jammers! Cerise here with a rather short post. I was going to help Agent Rock and Agent Skywalker find a scammer when I found this girl claiming that if you sent her 10 gifts, you would get a spike AND den betas in return. What irks me about this one is that she had to say "not lying" at the end of her sentence.

Someone came up to her and asked her to put the spike on trade, and she answered by saying "Why" and then immediately continuing advertising for her scam. I asked her why we couldn't just trade 10 items for the spike and she immediately ran away.
Report her for scamming.
