Hey, it’s Pixyl. Today we have a giveaway scammer. I didn’t manage to get many pictures of the actual scam for this one, so I apologize in advance. This scammer offered to give away their spike, which was a rare yellow long.

They started out the giveaway with “best offer wins”, and they had us trading for a necklace. I asked if you had to accept, and they said you didn’t, but they tried to accept anyway. They ended up dragging out the scam for a ridiculously long time, and kept changing their mind about the value of items. Eventually, they locked out two of us (there were three in total). I tried to buddy them and get into their den, but I wasn’t able to. Luckily, I later found the “winner” and interviewed them, finding out that they had been scammed:

By “chair and welcome mat”, I assume they meant the “beta” items with those names that were actually released in July 2017 and therefore aren't beta at all. However, since they were limited edition items and have beta in their names, I suppose some people do probably place some value on them. Therefore, please report nicholas44702 for scamming.

Verdict: Confirmed Scammer
