Hey guys, Beta here with a scammer I found. This guy was advertising for a lion mane giveaway at his den, so Fire and I went to check it out.

Unsurprisingly, he said we have to trade all the way in order for your entry to be counted.

I asked if we had to accept all the way and of course he said yes.

He claimed that if we didn't win, he would give the items back. Obviously..

So I traded my pink long wrist, but rejected the trade when it asked if I was sure. I asked if I wint, but he said I didn't because I didn't trade all the way, unsurprisingly. I then called him out as a scammer and told the others not to trade him. He buddied the others and locked me out. Report him for scamming

  1. I'm looking for some advice (preferably from Cerise) ok so I'm an aspiring scam catcher and sometimes when I find a scammer I kinda have a temper and start screaming at them, and I'd like to change my ways and ideas?

    1. I can just give you some overall advice for being a scam catcher.
When you're confronting a scammer, remember that they're probably a young child. They're not as intelligent as you (I should hope so a least), and therefore you don't need to yell at them. You want to present yourself as a mature person, not someone who will scream their head off.
If you want advice on how to start a scam catching society, I can help with that as well.

    2. Scam Catching Societies:
      Don't steal names or layouts
Don't base it around a meme or political idea
Don't hire morons, jerks, hackers, or scammers
Do give evidence in posts so we have reason to report them
Do have a blog (preferred) or a YouTube channel to go with it
      Do have a chat room
      Do be active
I might think of more but I'm lazy as ye all know so
      Also yes I'm not Cerise.

U've been my aj 'inspiration' for a while because u decided to start a society, go through all the trouble with having a society like this, & even though u don't work here anymore u still help out. (And if u could maybe point out a few things about how to recruit agents, pick ppl for the leaders, etc. It would be rlly helpful. Thnx for the advice

    1. Can Flinty Flakes here help out, even though I'm not Cerise?
For recruiting, have a den, get em to sit, talk about it for a bit, then ask questions and pick whoever. You can also have an application, but the first way weeds out the lazy folks. Don't hire role-players (*Raises Hand/Paw*), scammers, misled folks, or begging folks.

For leaders, pick someone who is
      A. Active
      B. Contributes and
      C. Is trustworthy

I recommend having a blog to go with it, even if the main focus is the YouTube channel.

Let agents post or make videos, or have a central channel with other channels in the recommended section where all your agents have their own to put scammers on.

      Ask more for more clarification.
