Hi Jammers! Cerise here. I was sitting in Jamaa Township, watching for scammers, when this guy caught my eye. He claimed to me giving away a spike, however, from what he was saying, he was doing a trust-trade giveaway for it.

I got pictures, walked up and confronted him. He proceeded to taunt me when I claimed to be posting this, and bragged about how "his scamming team is coming for us". Now I'm a little unsettled.

He claimed to ahve "mods we would never believe". Could this guy really be the owner of a scamming team?
It ended when he ran off, doing the laugh emote.
Watch out for this guy.

  1. I can actually back up the part about the Mods from personal experience. Today I had a Orange Short Wrist on trade I had just won from TFD, and this exact guy traded a Long Orange Wrist for my Short. Of course I accepted, but it got all glitchy. When I refreshed I didnt have the Long Wrist OR the Short Wrist :L

  3. Seriously, mods? If AJ has daily mods going on, this would've NEVER happened. And his 'scamming' team? Wow. We KNOW how scams work (the only thing we can ever thank scammers for), so how can we possibly get scammed? Do they want to try hacking? If they do, we can call the police and have them trace their IP addresses back to where they live, get the hackers fined and go to court (if they're over 18, it's probably arrest, under 10 then they can't be charged [but I have never heard of a 10- hacker), over 10, then they will be put in custody/court. Found this info from this link: http://www.nidirect.gov.uk/if-your-child-is-arrested-and-charged). That quite a risk considering they're doing this over a GAME. We should track him sometime, to see if he's telling the truth or just trying to intimidate us.

    1. By Mods I think they mean things like "Auto Accept". There are downloads ALL over for these things. Most are hacks but there are 1 or 2 legit ones.

  5. Such bluff. Much wow.

He could have mods, yes, but I don't see people with mods/hacks too often. Does she/he have many achievements or AJ experience? Once again, this could be a backup or something.

  6. Impossible. Mods can't work on animaljam no matter how hard you try. Aj has a built in fire wall, on top of that somewhat active moderators. Also smart bomb interactive, and National geo. are two well known companys. Club penguin on the other hand although runned by disney, doesnt have that built in firewall so it is very easy to get whatever item you want by using a third party program. for example penguin lodge has several third party programs. If you were to search up one for animaljam (WHICH YOU SHOULD NEVER USE) you would find many fake "downloaders" that end with "exe". This means its just a virus :P Sorry my spelling sucks I dont know how to right click on this laptop TT,TT

    1. Actually, National Geographic doesn't develop, run, or publish Animal Jam - they just have a partnership. And believe it or not, there are some people out there skilled enough to make legitimate hacking programmes available, though it does take quite a bit of searching. They can indeed work around Animal Jam's security measures and firewalls.

And no, Club Penguin was not 'ruined' by Disney. They got additional funding, more staff members, and a lot of backup in general, in exchange for hosting sponsored parties.

The only reason there are more third-party software programmes specific to Club Penguin is because it has been around longer and has had much more publicity. I wouldn't be surprised if custom or private Animal Jam servers start coming up soon (but I don't know of many people, not even Wiki authorities, who have bothered even to look at the .swfs, much less to copy them).

    1. Um, how exactly did we copy her? She was an inspiration for myself when I made the blog, but how exactly did we copy her?

      1. Our blogs look absolutely nothing alike
      2. Our names may be similar but that's about it
      3. She's a solo scam catcher and we're a society
      4. There are loads of other scam catching blogs, so why are you complaining to us and not to them? Just because we catch scammers doesn't mean we copied firetigerx.

  8. Can I be in the scam watch society? I also look for hackers like Fman and Mightyviruxs( he said he is gonna get me but he hasn't tried sending me a gift yet). My username is Acrainbowrocks.
