Sunshineshadey - Is he legit? (flamingkingofwolfs (Non-member))

I was sitting in Jamaa Township and this scammer named flamingkingofwolfs popped up, advertising for a black long collar giveaway at their den. The way they said it was a lot like Sunshineshadey, but I suppose scammers must get desperate for things to say now that the chat logs are becoming more narrow. Anyways, I naturally went to check it out.

Sure enough, it was trusting, so I began to get pictures.

However I was interrupted when - wait, is that - yes, that is Sunshineshadey in the picture. They walked right into the middle of the giveaway.

He proceeded to say "omg shadowclawxx IT'S YOU", as if gesturing to me. Oh yay, he knows this blog exists now. This shall be fun.

He proceeded to yell orders at the den owner, flaming, and the orders mostly consisted of "LOCK THEM OUT THEY'RE SCALE CATCHERS".

I began to call him out, taunting him and saying he was worried we'd infiltrate and expose his little team. Boy, was he scared. Flaming started getting all panicky saying "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS EARLIER" and locked the den.

Could flaming be part of this so-called scamming team that Sunshineshadey is apart of? At first I thought this guy was just saying that to make us scared, but I'm beginning to think he's legit.

  1. Omg, I'm going to try to keep an eye on them and post anything I find on G+, I'm not an agent, but I want to see this for myself

If you find anything, please tell!

  2. Hmm I wonder how he knows the sws. Maybe a agent in disguise as a scammer?

    1. I wouldn't think he's an agent, unless of course Blue or Pink, or our lil' enemies out there. The SWS is one of the most known Animal Jam scam watching groups out there, if I'm correct. So if he searched Scam Catchers, it'd be likely for us to pop us.

ALSO::: If they DO know about our blog and our site, could potentially move conversations to the private council blog, just a thought.

  3. Perfect proof that all bullies are just cowards at heart. Apparently they're scared of being reported, so at least they know the risks. The higher risk, higher reward example, however, does not quite work with scamming.

    1. I feel that it wouldn't be surprising if they have a scamming group. They advertised a similar tactic to sunshine's tactic. They most likely don't want us to find out about their group.

  4. Imma casually stalk the stalker :I
I think it's quite odd that he always manages to follow you.

  5. Wait wait wait wait wait wait WAIT lemme get this straight

So... Sunshineshadey apparently DOES have a scamming team, at least I'd assume. Because this seal 'coincedentally' found the exact same world you were in and 'coincedentally' went to Jamaa to advertise their scam. I heard Taco say that you've seen Sunshine stalk you two, correct me if I'm wrong... But you went to investigate, and 'coincedentally' sunshine was there. And they basically locked because they thought they'd be foiled. And 'coincedentally', sunshine immediately said, "OMG, shadowclawxx, its YOU!" This is all very confusing to me. I'm not the best to word things out, but I feel like we need to look deeper into all of this. Could be the next target, because this is all very odd.

    1. Ask for me to clarify anything, I SUCK at wording out my thoughts :|

    2. I presume that they're actually one of the 'smart' scammers out there. They track us to learn our techniques and avoid them. Is it just me, or does this feel like a battle? Also, yes, we could move our ideas to the private blog, to be safe. But still, if Sunshine or any of those scammers else there are reading this, I hope they know the snowball effect. A tiny online scam might turn into a real-life robbery, just like how that tiny 'innocent' snowball rolls down the hill, becoming bigger and bigger until it crushes someone's car.

    3. I just find it strange with all the 'coincidences.' It feels like they're stalking us to get attention, or in a way, they want to be seen. I'm not sure either, but what are the odds of coming to the same world and all these 'coincedences' happening? And as for a battle, I'd hope not. W don't really need any more threats. It could be like those sarapinky/fangangel investigations, which I would not want to happen.

I just don't understand why people are so desperate for pixels..

    4. Fem hit the nail right on. Our Team of over 50 Scammers wants to learn the Scam Watchers tactics, and counter them.

    5. Glad to know :) Also, probably the one thing we can thank you for is teaching us YOUR tactics. We also have a team of many agents, plus all those other scam-catching societies that are dedicated to reporting and banning all y'all.

Btw, how will you counter reporting? I'm not going to even ask you about countering awareness; education is more powerful than you think. You can try to avoid our questions, by doing the sad emote, guilt-tripping, but still, those methods only have 1 word to describe them; pathetic (and possibly overrated, overused, plus overzealous).

    6. Also, thank you for telling us about that! Now we know not to share important information :) And, 50 scammers? Can you please tell us how many scammers that are on your team that have been posted here (besides you two)?

    7. Also, just noticed something; that was a 'trap' wasn't it? You wanted to see how we stopped you. Good job, and good luck trying to counter our methods. By the way, there's a fine for hacking if you're ever thinking of that; the min. is 6 months in jail and $1000. Quite a risk over a few pixels.

    8. Well, well, well. This is getting interesting. :sips tea:

    9. Oh, by the way, is it necessary to get 50+ people to simply steal pixels?
Yes, I understand our society is for a similar reason, but we're actually doing something for a better community.

    1. I tried to search them on YouTube and google, and nothing, so I'm guessing we caught them early. Sunshine, flamingkingofwolfs, and some dude named i0i tried to buddy me.. We'll see what happens I guess.

  7. Hey Cerise,

I've been a little suspicious about someone lately. Their username is Nightfeather.

This person sent me a buddy request a while ago, but just last week I was finally able to meet them. Boy, were they RUDE!

Nightfeather told me to go ____ myself and said other mean things about me, too.

For some reason, I'm still his/her buddy, just so I can get to know them a little better.

Alright, let's just get to the point here. I know I'm not the only one (**ba-dum-tss**) who's been bullied by Nightfeather, according to his/her Jammer Wall. Do you think you could try investigating him/her? I know I'm not a member of the SWS, but this is a situation that needs to be taken care of.

    Thanks,

    ~Naffy

    3. I didn't think it was you. Nightfeather's personality and behavior is completely different from yours... :P

  8. Ooooh, this is hilarious.
The fact they tell us their plans, as well as their group's number of agents is perfect.
I don't know if it was to scare us or something but oh boy did it make me laugh.
Why do scammers feel the needs to tell us their plans?
Makes it much easier to counter THEM.
Well, I don't scam watch anymore but taking down scam teams is great fun.
If you ever need help with anything concerning scam groups, I'm willing to help.
